I've been using a Nokia 8310 for 4 years now. It's high time for me to change to a new phone. Taking 3G into consideration with budget constraint, I've finally shortlisted 2 phones, Nokia 6280 and Motorola V3X. Finally, I bought a V3X.
Basically, the specs are:
- UMTS(3G) 384 kbps
- Weight 125g (quite heavy tho')
- Dimension ( 99 x 55 x 20mm), 89 cc
- Display TFT 256K colours, 240 x 320 pixels
- External display 65K colours, 96 x 80 pixels
- Ringtones: polyphonic 24 channels, MP3
- Phonebook 1000 x 20 fields
- Cardslot microSD up to 512MB
- Internal memory 64MB
- GPRS Class 10 (32-48 kbps)
- Bluetooth v1.2
- Browser WAP 2.0/xHTML
- Camera 2.0 MP, 1600 x 1200 pixels
- Video, flash
This V3X seems to be user friendly. I like the 3G function very much, altho' there are not many friends of mine who are using 3G. Currently Maxis is having a promotion. 7am-7pm normal call rates, 7pm-7am FOC. I've been 3G-ing with Chrissaro very frequent nowadays....and it's great to be having this kind of technology.
For those of you who are wondering how fun 3G is, wait till u try it yourself....

hmm... alot on 3G now... i might get one soon... but Moto RAZR is not actually my favourite... i would give leong's K800 a try, too bad none of O2 series now is supporting 3G, and since it is free during off-peak, I think it is worth to give it a shot!!!
oi! using for 4 years? really or not?
Absolutely fantastic...3G is quite fun...and most importantly, it's FOC from 7pm-7am now...video calls are proving to be the trend rite now...but it's still very limited...only KL, Penang and Johor has 3G coverage...last nite made my own maggi goreng at home, wanted to show cham, mana tau he was in the car and no coverage around that area...damn!
